Evite audience segmentation

In 2011, our media agency, 26 Dot Two, was the first advertiser to request to segment display messaging by host versus guests for two reasons:

  1. Hosts and guests typically handle different aspects of a Thanksgiving meal, with hosts cooking the main courses and guests bringing sides and/or beverages,

  2. Hosts return to Evite incrementally more often than guests, so we wanted to provide more creative variations to avoid creative fatigue.
